By completing this survey, you can help the school maintain its areas of strength and identify areas that need continued improvement. Staff Appreciation Month

The Athlone Parent Council has once again chosen the month of April as Staff Appreciation Month at Athlone School.

Every Wednesday this month they have planned something special for the staff. whether it is a special breakfast to start their day, a satisfying lunch, or simply a treat to enjoy during a coffee break.

The Parent Council relies on a large group of parent volunteers who provide the snacks and set things up on each Wednesday. If you were planning on donating to staff appreciation, the Parent Council asks you to get your forms in as soon as possible.

Thank You!

A tremendous thank you to all the friends, families and supporters of Athlone School who made our recent Read-A-Thon Fundraiser such a tremendous success. Through your generosity, we were able to raise over $3 500 for the school.

This money will be used to fund field trips, workshops and special presentations for the school, as well as, things like our upcoming volunteer tea, and end-of year-awards.

I also want to thank all the students who read so diligently and went out and found the pledges in order to support their school.
