Hamper Update

Yesterday after school, Athlone School's Christmas Hamper was delivered to a very happy and thankful family. The kids were especially sweet with their 'thank-yous' and wishes for a 'Merry Christmas'.

It certainly helped to wash away some of the stress this time of year can bring and replaced it with the feelings of what is really important...people you care about; spending time together; and sharing our great good fortune with those who have not been so blessed.

A very big thank you to all you contributed to the hamper project. Your generosity will be well-appreciated by those three young children and their mom during this holiday season.

It never ceases to amaze me..how easily this community so willingly jumps aboard such a project and gives of themselves with such kindness and warmth.

Many, many thanks.
